Lawyers for Wang Dengchao, a former Shenzhen police sentenced for 14 years in prison for “obstructing official business” and “embezzlement,” issued two complaints against 23 provincial and local officials. The first complaint accuses two temporary employees and an officer from the Shenzhen Procuratorate on of “false accusation and entrapment” and “perjury.” The second complaint accuses 20 officials at different levels of the Shenzhen City and Luohu District government of concealing evidence, and accused “Shenzhen police, procuratorate, court, as well as the Commission of Political and Legal Affairs have formed criminal group which twists the law to suit their own purpose.”
The third document is a request submitted by Lawyer Liu Xiaoyuan to Shenzhen Municipal Intermediate People's Court to hold a new appeal hearing in open court.
